We are excited to offer celebrations of birthdays in a unique Outdoor woodland site on the edge of Chase Water Country Park.
We offer a 90 minute outdoor birthday parties with 2 qualified forest school practitioners.
All our parties have full private use of our main forest school area. We will decorate the site with bunting, put up a selection of ropes, hammocks and swings dependent on the children’s age and we will also have our mud kitchen fully equipped with potions of coloured water and natural resources for their creations!
We also have a wide selection of resources such as insect exploration and magnify glasses, cosy spaces, natural resources, and musical instruments to encourage play and exploration. We have lots of tools to use in our tool area and depending on the children’s age, we can plan a craft or activity which provides an opportunity for tool use; however, all crafts and more structured activities will remain child led and optional to all children.
The parties start at the fire circle where we will introduce ourselves and welcome everyone to the party. We will talk about the various activities on offer, whether this is using tools, den building, imaginative creations, fire lighting, climbing and hanging or playing games! There will be lots of child led play involved, and possibly lots of muddy fun! The children will all get sent off to play! We will gather back at the log circle for any campfire food and then later to sing happy birthday to the birthday child!
Families are welcome to bring any other food that they’d like to provide, including a birthday cake.
Parties are available to book on Fridays 1:00pm-2:30pm and 3:30pm-5:00pm
